Youth Group Information……

                  

First-remember there will be no youth group Wednesday, January 23.  Please attend the Parish Mission . 

 

Second-IMPORTANT YOUTH GROUP AND PARENT MEETING!!!

 

Wednesday, January 30th after youth group (8-8:30p.m.)

 

We will have a short but important meeting about this summers youth activity

    “ND Vision”

We will be attending ND Vision this year in place of Steubenville .

I will give an explanation as to the change and also information about the trip. 

Please try to attend this meeting even if your youth is unable to (due to work/school obligation).

Just a reminder…..

 

Your Fast-A-Thon papers are due to Jean by Wednesday, March 7.  If you have them completed you can bring them tomorrow to the lasagna dinner, give them to Maaike or Tausha at school, bring them to my house or to Jean’s house or bring them to the play on Wednesday. 

 

Also, remember, if you have not let me know if you want to attend the play with the youth group please call me ASAP.  I have a limited number of tickets.

Just a reminder

 

          Saturday

                   Be at church at 2:30 to work the fundraiser.  Remember your dessert.  We will not be eating until the event is over and some of the cleaning is done.  Bring a drink and a snack if you want.  Remember to wear black/dark pants and a white shirt.

 

 

          Wednesday, Youth Group

                   Remember this is the week we will attend the MHS play in place of youth group.  We have some of our youth group members acting.  Go and show them your support.  I have 12 tickets.  The first twelve youth that contact me and say they want to attend will get the tickets.  Give me a call - 831-5259 or 886-0827. 

 

          April 20th NET Team (NOTE:  SEE CORRECTION ABOVE!)

                   Tuesday, April 20, the NET Team will be at St. Peter.  This event will take the place of youth group on the 21st.  The time is 5-9p.m.   This will include dinner.  They are a great group!  Come and experience this great event.   We also need host families for the team members to spend the night in homes.  These young people do not need a bedroom, bed, private bath, etc.  They travel for a full year and come prepared to sleep where ever.  They have sleeping bags and just need a place.  They cannot stay alone.  There must be at least two per home.  I have housed members for the past two years and have enjoyed their company each time.  Please let me know if you would like to have a couple of the team members stay with you.

Fundraiser Information

 

We will be having a fundraiser on Saturday, March 3rd.  This will be taking the place of the mystery dinner that was cancelled.  We will be serving a lasagna dinner in the parish hall.  If you are attending Steubenville this is a must.  If you are planning on going to NCYC you will also want to work this event.  You will need to wear a white shirt and black (or dark) pants.   No Jeans.  Youth will need to be at the parish hall at 2:30 to help set up and decorate.  Youth (and their family) are asked to provide the desserts.  Pies, sheet cakes, etc. would be great.   Jean and I will be preparing the lasagna, salad and bread.  We have no way of knowing how many will attend.  We will be serving dinner from 5:00 to 7:00.  We hope to have many people come after 5:30 Mass.  Please let me know if you will be working this fundraiser.
